Bank connections and what they can see

Linking a bank lets the app read your balances and transactions, and nothing more.

What it means

When you connect a bank, you sign in to the bank through a secure service, so we never see your bank password. The app can see balances and transactions to keep things up to date. It can't move money, pay bills or change anything at your bank. You can disconnect whenever you like, and the updates stop straight away.

Why it matters

Your accounts stay up to date without typing, and nobody gets control of your money. Updates arrive on their own when the bank has something new; a daily check catches anything missed.
