Changelog
What changed in WealthyJack, newest first. Follow along with the feed.
v0.36.1
- Accounts is calmer with many banks: one row per account in groups that fold and stay folded, each group's total in its header, and a bar on top showing what you have and what you owe by type. Tap a segment to jump to its group. Prefer the cards? Flip the Rows | Cards switch; the app remembers.
- Tap a row to see its last 12 months, the day's balance as you move along the line, and the biggest money in and out this month.
- Each row says when its bank needs you to sign in again or can share your card's real terms, and "2 things need a look" at the top lists them.
- CDs now sit in Savings, after your savings accounts.
- Transactions starts with the search, then five small menus (Account, Category, Dates, Amount, More) that show what they're set to. The month's money in, out and what's left sit above the list with a by-day chart that follows your search.
- Pick one account and each day shows the balance after that day. Tick rows to set a category, mark transfers or delete them together; each row's ··· menu does the same for one.
v0.35.1
- Your cards' and loans' real terms come from your bank: the rate, the minimum, the due date, the last statement and the limit, with no typing. Banks you connected before get a one-tap "Get the real terms" button, and the terms show as soon as they arrive. A value you typed yourself stays until you tap "Use the bank's".
- A card paid off by its due date reads "Paid in full", and "This month's payments" on Debts shows what your cards and loans want this month.
- Heads-ups about a card or loan payment now carry the amount, and say when your bank marks a payment overdue.
- What's new: this page in Settings and in the side menu, with a dot on your account menu when a release has something to show you.
- Got a new card at a bank you already connected? "Add accounts from this bank" adds it to that bank, without a second connection.
- While a bank fills in, the Accounts page shows how far along it is, in a few words. Each account card has a ··· menu and says when the bank needs you to sign in again or can share your card's real terms.
Fixed: searching transactions no longer lags as you type; the net position change no longer shows a huge percentage right after you add accounts; subscriptions and insights fill in after every Refresh and never wait for the night; when a bank sign-in fails, you see the bank's own message and can try again; a bank's stale due date no longer shows as the next one.
v0.34.1
- Each bank on the Connections page now has one clear button: Refresh, or Reconnect when the bank needs you to sign in again. Disconnect moved into the ··· menu.
- A short line on each bank says when it last updated, like "2 hours ago".
- A new bank shows a dial while it fills in, so you can see how far along it is.
- Subscriptions and insights now show up a few minutes after your bank updates, instead of the next night.
- Bank account names are tidier: the last four digits show once and stray bits are gone. Names you changed yourself stay as you set them.
v0.34.0
- Three plans: Free, Standard and Premium. Standard is everything for one person; Premium is the same for your whole household, up to four people.
- Households on the old shared plan moved to Premium and kept their free trial.
- Heads-ups tell you about a large charge, a cash account dipping under your cushion, a budget at 80 % or over, and a household budget going over.
- Get each heads-up in the app, by email or as a notification on your phone or computer. Pick which in Settings → Heads-ups.
- Quiet hours and a daily limit on notifications, so nothing buzzes at night.
- The weekly summary skips weeks with nothing new to say.
v0.33.0
- Sign in with Google. Your second sign-in step still applies.
- When a bank needs you to reconnect it, we tell you with a note in the app and an email.
Fixed: linking too many banks at once now says how long to wait; answers in Ask show bold text and lists properly; the button reads "Add transaction"; the line about transfers explains why they are left out.
v0.32.1
- Ask always gives exact figures and never rounds them, even when you ask it to.
- The app now runs on a newer, safer base. Nothing changes for you.
v0.32.0
- Household budgets: one limit for a category that counts everyone's shared spending, and everyone sees the same number.
- Household goals: save toward something together. Each person links their own shared accounts and sees their part.
- Sign out is now in the account menu.
Fixed: the seasonal touches on the site switch on and off the way they should.
v0.31.0
- Seasonal touches: leaves in the fall, snow in winter, fireflies in summer and petals in spring drift gently over the site and the app.
- They never cover a button or a number. Turn them off any time in Settings → Display, or with one tap the first time you see them.
Fixed: the headline on the site's home page.
